At Gajee Khan Ensemble, we embark on a musical journey that resonates with the heartbeats of
Rajasthan. Established in 2019, we are a group of passionate Rajasthani folk musicians hailing from
the vibrant desert town of Barmer. Our music is a melodic tapestry that weaves together the rich
cultural heritage of Rajasthan, creating an experience that is both captivating and deeply rooted in
tradition.
Our Origin Story
Our ensemble was born out of a shared love for the soul-stirring melodies and rhythms that have
echoed through the sands of Rajasthan for centuries. Gajee Khan, the founder and lead musician,
comes from a lineage of musicians who have preserved the authentic essence of Rajasthani folk
music. With a vision to bring this enchanting musical legacy to a wider audience, Gajee Khan
Ensemble came into existence.
